Resetting Your TP-Link Router
To reset your TP-Link router with a SIM card, follow these steps:
Ensure the router is powered on.
Press and hold the Reset/WPS button on the device for 5–10 seconds.
Wait 1–2 minutes for the router to reboot and stabilize.
Power off the router and carefully insert the Wave Connect SIM card into the SIM card slot on your TL-MR6400 router, ensuring it clicks into place.
Connect your computer or mobile device to the router (either via Wi-Fi using the default network name/password or via an Ethernet cable).
Open a web browser and enter the router's default access address, usually
192.168.1.1or192.168.0.1.Log in using the Admin Password you set up (or the default credentials if you haven't changed them).
2. Create a New Connection Profile
Navigate to the network settings to create a custom profile.
Go to Advanced > Network > Internet (or sometimes Dial-up or Profile Management).
Look for the "Profile Name / Management" section and click on "Create" or "Add New".
Alternatively, navigate to APN Management in some models for profile creation and management.
3. Enter Wave Connect APN Settings
In the new profile configuration screen, enter the following details:

Note: The Data Roaming setting must be Enabled for the Wave Connect SIM to connect properly.
4. Save and Apply the Profile
Click "Save" or "Apply" to store the new profile.
In the Profile Management list, select the newly created
Wave Connectprofile.Click "Set as Default" or "Connect" to activate the new settings.
Your TP-Link TL-MR6400 should now attempt to connect to the mobile network using the Wave Connect settings. Check the router's status page or the LED indicators to confirm a successful connection.
If you have any trouble connecting, please confirm you have enabled Data Roaming in the profile settings.
Troubleshooting Tips
SIM Not Detected: Ensure the SIM is correctly inserted into the slot.
No Internet LED: Confirm the APN settings are correctly configured with wbdata.
Reset Issues: Repeat the reset process and allow the router extra time to stabilize before reconfiguration.
